Members of the American Legion and VFW gathered today to honor veterans living at the Village at Legacy Pointe.
Standing in front of his fellow veterans, Jerry Foster, member of the Waukee American Legion may have said it best.
"I think I speak on behalf of all of us," said Foster. "It was an honor serving our country."
