The Waukee Fire Association was flipping flapjacks for a good cause Saturday morning at the Waukee Fire Station.

The breakfast was part of a to raise money for the . The department also collected food items to donate to the .

Event attendees noshed on pancakes and sausage, took rides in an antique fire truck, toured the fire station and watched and participated in demonstrations from fire department employees.
