The 3 From Waukee Sing the National Anthem at "Let's Move!" Event
Three vocalists from Waukee had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the "Let's Move" event last week at Wells Fargo Arena.
The 3 from Waukee, a trio of singers from Waukee, had the great fortune of singing the National Anthem at the Feb. 9 at Wells Fargo Arena in downtown Des Moines.
The 3 From Waukee is comprised of Derrick Wiley, Grant Luther, and Connor Girkin.

This wasn't the first time the trio received such accolades. Wiley, Luther and Girkin sang the National Anthem in the opening ceremony of the Iowa Games last July. The 3 from Waukee were chosen from more than 30 performers from around the state to perform in the opening ceremony in Ames last summer.
