The Daily Dose: Stranger Danger, Contests and Sleep Deprivation

Good morning, Waukee!

I wish I could say it's a good morning but I seem to have over scheduled myself and I am beyond exhausted. Just yesterday, after dropping the kids off at school, I found myself at a stoplight, it turned green and I just sat there staring straight ahead. The whole thing was weird but it was a definite reminder that I NEED to get more sleep. Do you ever have those days yourself?

I have to say I was pretty happy to hear that the of late. I don't know about you, but someone messing with my money freaks me out a little. Ok, a lot.

Did you read the story yesterday about how to talk to your kids about ? What a wake up call. Huge kudos to the two girls who ran home and told their mom about the suspicious vehicle they spotted. It inspired me to have a sit down with my own children and really dig down and have that conversation. You should do it too.

Politically speaking, . What do you think about that? Just curious.
