Good morning, Waukee. Welcome back to the reality of the work week. Wouldn't it be great if we could have a three day weekend and a four day work week? Someone get the president on the horn and let's see if we can make this happen.

Totally random thought - did you realize there are only two days left of school for the 2011-12 school year? I'm in denial. I can't believe the year is almost over.

That said, let's celebrate with the graduating class of 2012 by attending ceremony tonight at 7 p.m. at the Knapp Center. More than 300 seniors will walk across that stage to accept their diplomas. It's a can't miss event.
While I'm thinking of it, Patch has a couple contests you should really consider entering. and you could win $500 toward the charity of your choice. Let's talk weather...today will be an absolutely perfect day to call in sick to work. It's going to be sunny with a high near 75. The next couple days, according to the National Weather Service, are as follows:
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 51. Light and variable wind.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Breezy, with a south wind 5 to 8 mph increasing to between 17 and 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61. Breezy, with a south wind between 15 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.
