Hard to believe but students in only have seven days of school left of the 2011-12 school year. I'm probably in denial seeing as how it can't be possible that my baby has already made it through kindergarten. Where did the time go?

Such exciting news for the and WEDCO. The two organizations that promote and grow the . A grand opening will be held today at their new offices at 236 W. Hickman Rd. beginning at 5 p.m.

I hate to bear bad news but the National Weather Service is forecasting storms after 4 p.m. today. The good news is, until then, it looks like things will be bright, sunny and warm.

Today: Isolated showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Southwest wind 10 to 13 mph becoming northwest. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 50. North northwest wind between 6 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 76. North northeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming southeast.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 54. South wind between 6 and 8 mph.
