The Daily Dose: Woodland Hills Boundaries, a Sexual Abuse Arrest, and More
Woodland Hills boundaries, a sexual abuse arrest, and more today, April 24, in Waukee.

Don't you hate you get when you get home from vacation and suddenly it feels like you need another vacation? I do. My house is a mess, the laundry is piled high and there's no chance I'm going to get to any of it until the weekend. Ugh.
Anyway, I digress.
The Waukee school board started the ball rolling on the attendance boundaries for the new Woodland Hills Elementary school in West Des Moines last night. At its regular meeting, the Board began putting together a parents committee that will bring recommendations back to the Board that dictate who will attend the newest elementary in the district. It's bound (no pun intended) to be a hot button topic among parents when the find decision comes to fruition. Stay tuned.

On April 19, . Olcott is reported to have had inappropriate contact with a 14 year-old female. Yes, Waukee is a small suburban city but even things like this can reach a community this size. It can be a little frightening, quite honestly.
We have an interesting conversation going on with out question this week - how do you talk to your children about the birds and the bees? If you have a suggestion, head on over to the comments section below the story and type away. We want to hear from you!
