Waukee Community Preschool Registration is Tuesday

Parents interested in registering a preschool-aged child for the 2012-13 school year can do so beginning Tuesday morning at the .

Because there are limited spots available in the Waukee Schools' community preschool program, registration for 3 and 4 year-old preschool classes is done on a first come, first served basis.

Completed application packets will be date and time stamped as slots will be accepted beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday morning and will continue until all available spots are filled.

Preschool is offered at four Waukee Elementary schools: , , and . The 3 year-old program is offered four days a week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Children must be 3 years of age by Sept. 15, 2012. Tuition is $150 a month.

The 4 year-old preschool program is also offered four days a week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Children must be 4 years of age by Sept. 15, 2012. Tuition is $150 a month.
