Waukee Girls Upset Mason City in Last-Second Stunner
The Waukee High School girls basketball team upset Mason City today in a 49-47 win in the last second of the Class 4A quarterfinal game at Wells Fargo Arena.
What a way to win a basketball game!
The 6th-ranked Waukee Warrior girls topped 3rd-ranked Mason City with a final score of 49-47 in quarterfinal state tournament hoops at Wells Fargo Arena.
The girls scored with one second left to play bumping them into the Class 4A semifinal game against Iowa City West. The semifinal game will be played at 12 p.m. Friday also at Wells Fargo Arena.

This is the Waukee girls' fifth trip to the state tournament.
