The Waukee Leadership Institute will host a social for all alumni and potential new members Thursday night from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mickey's Irish Pub.

The Waukee Leadership Institute will host a social event for alumni and potential new members Thursday at Mickey's Irish Pub from 5 to 7 p.m.
All past graduates and those people interested in attending the Leadership Institute's fall class are encouraged to attend. There will free appetizers and the first drink is free.
The Waukee Leadership Insitute, founded in 2006, promotes leadership through educational and informational forums that assist dedicated individuals to learn, grow and lead, hopefully in the city of Waukee.

Since 2006, the Institute has graduated 76 students, many of whom have become active in city government, the Waukee Chamber of Commerce, the Waukee Economic Development Corporation, Waukee Board of Education and even the Waukee Public Library.
Interested attendees are asked to RSVP online at waukeeleadership.org/rsvp.  This event will also be an opportunity to find out more about the Leadership Institute and to possibly sign up for the 2012-13 class that begins in September.
