Waukee Police Blotter: Two Juveniles Arrested Dec.17

Waukee Police responded to several calls last week ranging from car accidents, OWIs, burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

Police Charge Two Teens Trying to Break Into Shed

In the early morning hours of Dec. 17, Waukee police responded to a call of two men trying to break into a shed in the 800 block of Mansfield Drive.

Two 15-year-old male juveniles were located, arrested and charged with public intoxication and interference with official acts.

Jennifer Stanbrough-Woltz of Waukee reported a theft in the 1300 block of Southeast University Avenue.

Beau Adair, 30, of Waukee was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear.

Dec. 13

A vehicle driven by Aileen Bavas of Clive was struck by a vehicle driven by Jason Schaffer of Adel. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,050.

A vehicle driven by Eric Beattie of Des Moines was struck by a vehicle driven by Julie Leonard of Clive. Vehicle damage was estimated at $6,000.

Dec. 14

Travis Rhiner, 25, of Adel was charged with driving while barred.

Cindy Garr-White of Waukee reported a burglary to a residence in the 1300 block of Southeast University Avenue.

Dec. 15

Douglas Smith of Waukee reported a theft in the 200 block of North Warrior Lane. 

Willard Flesher of Waukee reported criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 2700 block of Alice's Road.

Joshua Vanevery of Waukee reported a burglary to a residence in the 300 block of Southeast Whitetail Lane.

Dec. 16

A report of phone harassment was taken in the 1000 block of Kingsdale Drive.

Dec. 17

A vehicle driven by Charles Berrier of Bagley struck a deer in the 1700 block of Southeast University Avenue. Vehicle damage was estimated at $2,200.

Kyle Connor, 24, of West Des Moines was charged with operating while intoxicated (first offense).

Dec. 18

David Salgado, 39, of Waukee was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear.

Terry Mitchell of Waukee reported a theft in the 100 block of Southeast Booth Drive. 

Dec. 19

Sarah Wipperman, 21, of Dallas Center was charged with operating while intoxicated (first offense).
