People in Waukee Were Very Good Last Week According to Waukee Police Blotter

Waukee Police responded to only a few calls last week with reports of theft and driving while intoxicated among them.

Sometimes no news is good news. That must have been the case for the last week.

With only six reports coming in the week of March 19-25, this week's police blotter pales in comparison to other weeks when reports can number a dozen or more.

Not all is lost. There were still six reports filed last week, most of them OWIs or reports of driving while suspended. Those reports are listed below.

March 19

Suzy Chapman of Adel reported a theft from a motor vehicle in the 200 block of Southeast Laurel Street.

March 21

Alfred Gaye of West Des Moines reported a theft in the 200 block of Warrior Lane.

March 23

Andrew Larson, 36, of Waukee was arrested and charged with driving while suspended.

March 24

Leroy Dressman, 53, of Waukee was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated (first offense).

Britney Leimer, 23, of Waukee was arrested and charged with driving while suspended.

March 25

Evelyn Vanpolen, 26, of Waukee was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated (first offense).
