Waukee Police Blotter: Burglary and fraud charges among cases

The Waukee Police Department responded to several calls this week ranging from domestic assault, to traffic accidents, burglary and fraud.

Oct. 3

Jay Hofbauer of Waukee was charged with domestic assault in the 1700 block of Olson Drive.

Oct. 4

A report of harassment was taken in the first block of Northeast Carefree Lane.

Fadil Dzafic of Waukee reported a theft in the 2100 block of Southeast Florence Drive.

Oct. 5

A vehicle driven by Jo Rogers of Adel was struck by a vehicle driven by Peter Crabbs of Adel. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,400.

Margaret Royer of Waukee reported a fraud in the 1000 block of Windsor Court.

A vehicle driven by Tianna Bernard of Clive was struck by a vehicle driven by Ericka Dunn of Urbandale. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,000.

Timothy Russell, 44, of Waukee was charged with driving while suspended and no proof of insurance.

Oct. 6

A vehicle driven by John Brady of Adel was struck by a vehicle driven by Gretchen Walker of Adel. Vehicle damage was estimated at $3,250.

Christopher Weih, 37, of Waukee was charged with operating while intoxicated (third offense). Weih was also cited for open container and improper lane use.

Jennifer Oneel, 37, of Waukee was charged with driving while suspended.

Oct. 7

Kristin Clement of Waukee reported a burglary to a residence in the 2700 block of W Avenue.

Oct. 8

A vehicle driven by Tyler Kolker of Dallas Center struck a legally parked vehicle. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,400.

A 15-year-old female was arrested in the first block of Windfield Parkway and charged with simple assault.
