Waukee Police Blotter: Sept. 6 - 11

Waukee Police responded to calls ranging from criminal mischief to theft and burglary to illegal possession of prescription drugs in the week ending Sept. 11.

Sept. 6

Rodney Schettler of Waukee reported fraudulent practices in the 200 block of Parkview Drive.

Phillip Smith, 16, of Clive was charged with burglary and simple assault.

Cheryl Laird-Humphrey of Waukee reported a theft in the 400 block of Sixth Street.

Nicholas Scar of Waukee reported identity theft in the 1400 block of Southeast Rosenkranz Drive.

Jarrett Brown, 21, of Waukee was charged with unlawful possession of prescription drugs.

Sept. 8

The City of Waukee reported criminal mischief to a building in the 300 block of Seventh Street.

A vehicle driven by Christine Morgan of Waukee struck a legally parked vehicle in the 500 block of Southeast Crabapple Drive. Vehicle damage estimated at $500.

Linda Schwab of Waukee reported criminal mischief to a residence in the 700 block of Maple Street.

Muriel Kayser of Waukee reported criminal mischief to a residence in the 700 block of Walnut Street.

Sept. 9

Joseph Sciorrotta of Waukee was charged with driving while barred.

Sept. 11

Nomachina Bashale, 32, of West Des Moines was charged with operating while intoxicated (first offense) and child endangerment.
