Waukee Police Blotter: Waukee Man Arrested for Nov. 23 Domestic Assault

The Waukee Police Department responded to several calls the week of Nov. 20-25 that included reports of domestic assault, harassment, criminal mischief and theft.

Man With Handgun Charged With Assault

Matthew O'Connor, 33, of Waukee was charged with domestic assault with a weapon on Nov. 23.

According to a report from the Waukee Police Department, O'Connor was arrested at 8:16 p.m. at his home in the 2200 block of Southeast Prairie Creek Drive. O'Connor had a handgun in his possession.

Nov. 20

Randall Perkins, 17, was charged with assault and disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Fifth Street.

Nov. 21

A report of harassment was taken in the first block of Northeast Gracewood Drive.

Nov. 22

A vehicle driven by David Zurbrigen of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Kaila Johnson of West Des Moines. Vehicle damage was estimated at $1,300.

Officials at South Middle School in Waukee reported a theft in the 2300 block of L.A. Grant Parkway.

A vehicle driven by Melissa Knoll-Speer of Waukee was struck by a vehicle driven by Barbara Rowe of Clive when a third vehicle driven by Ann Sims of Dallas Center struck Rowe's vehicle. Vehicle damage was estimated at $9,500. Sims was cited for failure to maintain control. 

Nov. 23

Brodie Brelsford of Waukee reported criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 200 block of Linden Drive.

Nov. 25

Seval Nurikic, 22, of Clive was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
