The Waukee High School boys JV and varsity track invitational vs. Ankeny, Dallas Center - Grimes, Fort Dodge, Indianola, Des Moines Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson and Norwalk at Waukee Stadium today at 4:30 p.m.

Friday: Waukee Middle Schools Present "Oklahoma"

If you're looking for something fun to do tonight, check out Waukee's combined middle school production of "Oklahoma," at the Theatre Arts Center at Prairieview School. The show is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $4 for students, $6 for adults.

Friday: Drummin' With the Monkey 9 at Waukee High School

Waukee Percussion is proud to present Drummin' with the Monkey 9,   "Nightmares and Lullabies".  There are two shows tonight at 6 and 8 p.m.  in the Waukee High School Auditorium.  Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for students.  Tickets are available at the door.

Waukee Percussion is a group of Waukee High School percussionists led by instructor Marty McDonald.  Nightmares and Lullabies is a show that features these students performing a wide array of music using classic and modern percussion instruments.  Utilizing theatrical lighting and video, it's random, it's fun, and it's amazing!

Saturday: Rotary Club of Waukee's Annual Auction & Wine Tasting Event

Come out to for the Rotary Club's Annual Auction & Wine Tasting from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets for entry and the raffle are $10. Raffle tickets only are $5.

The supports numerous local community activities and organizations like Special Olympics, Rebuilding Together, Safety City, Waukee Public Library, the Waukee YMCA, as well as many organizations around the world. They fund these activities by the money raised at their annual auction.

Saturday: SCIBA Large Group Band Festival

The South Central Iowa Bandmaster's Association (SCIBA) is hosting its annual Large Group Band Festival Saturday at Waukee Middle School. The festival focuses on the middle school and junior high jazz and large group programs. The event goes on throughout the day beginning at 7 a.m.
