Friday: No School/Spring Break Begins

Spring break for students in the begins today and runs through March 23. Classes will resume on Monday, March 26.

Friday: Waukee High School JV Boys Track Meet vs. Pella

The JV boys track team will face Pella High School today at 2 p.m. at Central College

Saturday: St. Patrick's Day at Mickey's Irish Pub

Saturday is St. Patrick's Day and is serving up fun from sun-up to sundown. Mickey's opens at 7 a.m. for a breakfast buffet; the Iowa Scottish Bag Pipes & Drums will play at 1:30 p.m.; a lunch menu will be served until 3 p.m.; then, beginning at 6 p.m. live bands Throwing Toast and Rock Puppets will play until midnight.

There will be green beer, a heated patio and corned beef & cabbage. Please note: no minors will be allowed in the bar after 2 p.m.

Saturday: Waukee High School Girls Varsity Track Meet vs. Pella

The Waukee High School girls varsity track team will face Pella High School Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. at Central College in Pella.
