Want to know how to make sure your marriage lasts a lifetime? Attend the Married Life Live seminar at this weekend. Beginning tonight from 7 to 9 p.m., couples can join others for fun, music and a great message on how to create a lasting marriage.
On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., couples will work with trainers Mark and Jody Stevenson on how to communicate better, handle conflict in healthy ways and bring more fun and romance into your relationship.

Valentine Breakfast at Maple Grove United Methodist Church
Gather up your sweetheart and even the entire family and head to the Maple Grove United Methodist Church on Saturday morning from 8 to 11 a.m. for a Valentine's Day breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage, cinnamon rolls, and drinks will be served. There's no cost to attend but free will donations are being accepted.
Maple Grove United Methodist Church is located at 9391 Ashworth Road, West Des Moines.
Daddy Daughter Dance at Prairieview School
There will be a Daddy Daughter Dance at Saturday night from 5 to 8 p.m. Dads are invited to bring their favorite Valentines (ages 2-22) to this fund-raising event supporting 's After-Prom Party.
Cost is $25 per couple and $10 for each additional daughter.
Valentine's Dance and Concert at ArtsCentral
Bring your sweetheart and your dancing shoes to the Valentine's dance and concert Saturday night at . Guests can hit the dance floor or just sit and enjoy the sounds of the Waukee Big Band as they play the big band sounds of the 1940s.
The concert will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at ArtsCentral. Single tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets are available by calling (515) 402-7870, at , or the night of the performance, if tickets are still available.
