White Shutter Photography Voted Waukee's 'Best Photographer'

Who could have predicted the incredible response we'd receive in

Two weeks, 1,752 votes, 12 comments and 28 uploads later, a clear winner emerged as Waukee's "Best Photographer."

With more than 660 votes, and its owner Brian Allen took top honors in Patch's Readers' Choice contest.

Allen, who's been photographing children, families, seniors and weddings for the past two years in Waukee, said he was taken aback by the response to the contest.

"Feels great to have received so many votes and great comments," said Allen. "I am very thankful for everyone who took the time to participate. It is an honor to be among the company of the other great photographers here in Waukee. I am glad local residents have so many great options for capturing their life-long memories."
