We all have a favorite, a teacher who changed our lives with a word of encouragement or a kind word.
Mine was Professor Bob Woodward (not that Bob Woodward) at Drake University. Professor Woodward reinforced for me why journalism and newspapers were so important. He encouraged me to work hard and to always remember that a story doesn't end when the writer finishes writing it. Â
