Fall Cleanup At West Des Moines' Jordan Cemetery Begins Today
After the fall cleanup, decorations may be placed on graves starting Nov. 13.

WEST DES MOINES, IA — City crews will begin the fall cleanup at Jordan Cemetery in West Des Moines today. They will clear flowers and decorations from graves in preparation for winter.
Graves may be decorated again after Monday, Nov. 13.
The cemetery at 2950 Fuller Road was founded by one of Polk County’s earliest settlers, James C. Jordan, who arrived in Polk County in 1846. The cemetery is managed by the West Des Moines Parks and Recreation.
