West Des Moines Police Department: West Des Moines Police Conducting Death Investigation

On Wednesday, January 19th, at 10:07am, Officers with the West Des Moines Police Department were dispatched to 1390 S. 100th Street to conduct a welfare check at the residence.  After arriving on scene and gathering preliminary information, officers made entry into the residence and discovered a deceased adult male and female.  West Des Moines Police Detectives and the West Des Moines Crime Scene Identification Unit are currently investigating the scene with the assistance of the (DCI) Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.  West Des Moines Police would like to emphasis they believe there is no ongoing threat to the public at this time.  The investigation is currently ongoing, and more information will be released when available.
