Here are the top three stories today in Baton Rouge:
- Here comes the Easter Bunny! First responders participated in a parade with the fluffy Easter mascot yesterday morning. The event was organized for kids at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital. See the video at the link. (WAFB)
- Another bank was robbed on Jones Creek Road yesterday. The robbery comes less than a month after a different bank was robbed nearby. In both robberies, the culprit made no threats and showed no weapons, but simply handed a note to the teller. Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers. (The Advocate)
- Heartbreaking: three-year-old dies after being struck by a stray bullet. A family is mourning the death of a toddler after a stray bullet entered through a bedroom window on Tuesday. The child had just begun daycare and was described by family as a "happy, happy" boy. East Baton Rouge Mayor-President Broome pleaded for an end to violence in the city. (The Advocate)
