Here are the top three stories in Baton Rouge today:
- The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a body that was found on Glen Oaks Drive. According to BRPD, the body was found on Monday at around 11:25 a.m. The victim has yet to be identified. (BRProud.com)
- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced alternating lane closures as traffic signals are being replaced. The three-phase, $10 million dollar project will begin Tuesday at 9 a.m. It will replace 229 traffic signals with new ones that include flashing yellow lights. (WBRZ)
- The manager of a Baton Rouge restaurant was arrested on Friday for allegedly trying to bribe his way out of fines. QuingQi Wu tried to offer an Alcoholic Beverage Control agent $4,500 under the table to avoid fines at his restaurant, Juicy Seafood. Wu admitted to the agent that he was trying to bribe them. (WBRZ)
