Baton Rouge, La. — November 22, 2021 — I have had the pleasure of working closely with the National League of Cities throughout my tenure as Mayor-President — participating in valuable conversations, idea sharing and collective work that has undoubtedly influenced the progress we are making here in Baton Rouge. Today, I am proud to share my appointment as Chair of the Community and Economic Development Policy Committee. 

My intention is to use this year of service to further the National League of Cities commitment to strengthening local leadership, influencing policy, and driving innovative solutions, and ultimately bringing transformative change to communities across the country.
