  1. The Baton Rouge Area Foundation has launched a new tool designed to help facilitate donations to local nonprofits. The Giving Store is a centralized platform where organizations in the Baton Rouge area can list giving opportunities. Community members can use the tool to browse giving opportunities based on their interests. (Greater Baton Rouge Business Report)
  2. Police are investigating after a shooting in Baton Rouge left one man injured over the weekend. Officials say the incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Mulberry Street on Sunday, Jun. 4. Details about the condition of the victim had not been released at the time of reporting. (WAFB)
  3. Baton Rouge General Hospital held an event Sunday celebrating local cancer survivors. The event was dedicated to the more than 4,000 people in the Baton Rouge area who are diagnosed with cancer each year. The event featured live music, art demonstrations, and opportunities to raise awareness about the challenges cancer survivors face. (WAFB)
