Here are the top stories today in New Orleans:

1. A shooting in Marrero on Thursday night left two victims with life endangering injuries. A man and woman were shot on Bretagne Court around 10:30 p.m. JPSO responded to the scene and both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. (WDSU New Orleans)
2. The New Orleans Public School District has rescinded their statement that the Homer Plessy School's French Quarter campus, which currently needs $18 million in repairs, would be moved. The building lacks ADA accessibility accommodations, but if the school moves, the French Quarter would not have a school in the neighborhood. This would be the first time since the 1720s, and leaders are waiting to gather more input before solidifying their decision. (WWLTV.com)
3. A man has been accused of forcing an RTA bus driver to take him to hospital. The man is facing charges of second-degree kidnapping, aggravated assault with a firearm and a felon in possession of a firearm after entering an RTA bus on Wednesday night. (WDSU New Orleans)
