- The organizers of the Mayor Recall campaign have not yet tuned in the list of signatures on their petition to the Times-Picayune after they settled on this agreement in a lawsuit. The NoLatoya organizers have turned over the signature copies over to the registrar of voter's office, but petition signatures are public record. (FOX 8 Local First)
- A man was shot to death at the intersection of Cambronne Street and Leake Avenue on Friday night. Police arrived to the Leonidas area to find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds just before 6 p.m. According to reports, the man died at the scene. (WDSU)
- New Orleans councilwoman Helena Moreno is calling for action from the 911 call center after a news report was released detailing the story of a man who called 911 after he was shot, and a Spanish language translator brought on the line allegedly accused him of fabricating his story. Moreno wrote a letter to the Executive Director Tyler Morris, demanding action by Feb. 27. (FOX 8 Local First)
