Here are the top stories today in New Orleans:

  1. Some absentee voters in the upcoming municipal primary election have received incomplete ballots. For those who are registered for House District 93, their ballots are supposed to contain two judicial races and a runoff decision for District 93 for a state representative seat, but they only have the judicial races. The voter registrar office has yet to make a comment, and with the election on March 25, some are worried that people may not realize what is missing and send the ballot back in. (FOX 8 Local First)
  2. A Tuesday morning shooting left a 14-year-old boy with multiple gunshot wounds and another teen in custody. Around 5 a.m. on St. Roch Avenue, the teenager was shot and injured and subsequently taken to the hospital by EMS. A stolen vehicle was recovered at the scene and police say it could be connected to the incident. (WDSU)
  3. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has initiated what they call "Phase 1 Flood Fight" where they begin inspecting levees twice a week once Mississippi levels rise past 11 feet, which is past its natural state. The level is expected to rise past this week which means any construction within 1,500 feet of the levees must be paused. (WGNO New Orleans)
