73-Year-Old Woman Loses Arm, Dies In New Orleans Carjacking
The woman's arm was caught in the seatbelt, and she was dragged during the carjacking, witnesses told WWLV.

NEW ORLEANS, LA — A 73-year-old woman was killed after her arm was severed during a carjacking Monday afternoon in New Orleans, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Police found the woman unresponsive with her arm dismembered on the 300 block of North Scott Street, where she was pronounced dead. Investigators believe the woman was thrown from the vehicle, authorities said.
Witnesses told WLVV that the woman's arm got stuck, first in the wheel well and later on the seat belt, before she was dragged by the moving car.

The woman was identified as Linda Frickey, according to the WLVV report.
Police have opened a homicide investigation and are looking for four suspects wanted in connection with the carjacking. The suspects fled in Frickey's 2021 grey Nissan Kicks with Louisiana license plate 759FAR, police said.
