UPDATE: Aberdeen Police Find Missing Student in Classroom
A student was missing from Lisby-Hillsdale Elementary School in Aberdeen Monday, Harford County Public Schools officials said.

UPDATE (5:50 p.m.)—Aberdeen police located the 5-year-old special needs student who went missing at George D. Lisby Elementary School at Hillsdale earlier Monday morning.
The student went missing around 10:30 a.m., police said, and was found around 11:30 a.m.
Aberdeen police spokesman Lt. Fred Budnick said officers found the student in a classroom at the school. He never left the school, Budnick said.
"We did muster some resources based upon the concern that he got out of the school. But once we did some secondary checks, and found him in the school," Budnick said.
The resources Budnick referenced included a Baltimore County police helicopter, as well as assistance from the Maryland State police and Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Earlier version (11:15 a.m.): Aberdeen police and Harford County Public School officials are searching Monday morning for a special needs student missing from George D. Lisby Elementary School at Hillsdale, officials said.
The student arrived at school Monday morning for a summer education program and was unaccounted for as of 10:50 a.m., schools spokeswoman Teri Kranefeld told Patch.
Officials are searching the school and the surrounding area, and the student's parents are at the school, Kranefeld said.
The boy is five years old, about three feet tall and 45 to 50 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes, last seen wearing blue plaid shorts, green sandals and a grey t-shirt, according to an automated call to residents from the Aberdeen Police Department.
Police also said the student, who goes by "Nicky," is autistic and does not speak.
