Aldi to Hold Hiring Event Saturday

Grocery chain Aldi will hold a hiring event Saturday for two Harford County locations.

The event for its Edgewood and Aberdeen locations will take place at the Ramada Inn at 1700 Van Bibber Road in Edgewood from 7 a.m. to noon. The Aberdeen location will open in July.

The chain is seeking part-time cashiers ($12 per hour), shift managers ($16.25 per hour) and manager trainees ($25 per hour). Applicants must be 18 or older, have a high school diploma or GED and be available to work between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., according to a press release.

Part-time staffers in the chain who work at least 20 hours receive full health, dental and 401(k) benefits, according to the release.
