Our Local Voices section has elected officials, business owners and community representatives.

One area of the commuity we're missing: the school community.

Columns in the Local Voices section have been a huge hit in Patch communities nationwide—particularly for parent-teacher organizations.

Share stories from your school club, post photos of the band, add a video from your class project or the game of the week, tell the story behind your fundraiser and more.

As groups become more web saavy and understand how to market themselves online, the middle man isn't as necessary.

With a Local Voices column, you essentially cut me out—don't worry, I'll be OK.

I'd love to see some students jump on board and start writing, too—particularly those interested in journalism or communications.

That's the best thing about our Local Voices section—it's your voice, whatever that voice might be sharing.
