Rooted in the world-class learner-driven model first launched in Austin, TX in 2009, we combine time-tested approaches like Montessori tools and Socratic discussions with hands-on projects, business and leadership training, and innovative use of technology. The <a href="http://www.milb.com/index.jsp?sid=t488" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Aberdeen IronBirds</a> are one step closer to their new announcer. Eight finalists in the team's "The Voice" competition were announced Wednesday <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151602573709686&amp;set=a.427891254685.198981.14392384685&amp;type=1" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">in a post on the team's Facebook page</a>. The eight will face off Saturday during IronFest at Ripken Stadium in front of a panel of celebrity judges. Fan votes will account for one third of each contestant's final score.
