IronBirds To Host Military Appreciation Night

The Aberdeen IronBirds host Brooklyn at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday at Ripken Stadium.

The will host the Brooklyn Cyclones to Tuesday.

But the Mets affiliate isn't the only special guest in store.

The IronBirds host Military Appreciation Night Tuesday, welcoming past and current armed forces members to the ballpark.

All branches will be honored in a pre-game ceremony, and will have informational booths around the stadium concourse.

Four assault vehicles from —the Army's HMMWV, M-ATV, Stryker an Buffalo—will be on display in the parking lot at the ballpark.

A group of new Army men and women will receive their dog tags during the game.

Fans are encouraged to wear clothing featuring their favorite unit or branch of the military.
