SHA Announces Loflin Road Closure

State highway officials announced Friday plans for temporary closures on Loflin Road in Aberdeen at the intersection of Old Philadelphia Road.

The closures, which will allow crews to move a county water line under Old Philadelphia Road, will begin Monday and last through late summer, according to a release.

Crews may also close a single lane of Old Philadelphia Road or US Route 40 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays and between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday, with some lane closures possible Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to the release.
