Tech Firm Marks Opening of New Aberdeen Office

Officials at Sigmatech, a technical, management, training and e-learning firm serving government organizations, cut the ribbon on their new Water's Edge facility last week.

The ceremony and open house, held May 16 at the office near Aberdeen Proving Ground, was attended by more than 90 local and state officials, according to a release.

Retired Major General Joe Bergantz, the company's president and CEO; founder and owner Gurmej Sandhu and company senior advisers took part in the ceremony.

The new office of the Huntsville, AL-based firm will be run by Senior Vice President Brian Simmons, who also oversees Sigmatech's Washington operations, according to the release.
