Arbutus Farmers' Market Returns June 7

The second year of the will begin June 7, president Patti Sue Nolan announced at the group's monthly meeting at  on Thursday.

The farmers' market will operate from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday afternoons in the parking lot of until the fall.

"Many of the same vendors will be back," Nolan said.

Building on the success of last year's farmers' market--which brought fresh locally produced goods to Arbutus--several new vendors this year include a French bakery, an organic farm from the Eastern Shore, and a food truck.

"We thought it would be nice if there were prepared food people could take home with them," Nolan said.
