Attempted Robbery Reported in Baltimore Highlands
An armed group accosted the 42-year-old victim, police said.

A Baltimore Highlands man reported an attempted robbery by a group of armed men on April 4, according to police.
The incident happened at around 8:20 a.m. when the 42-year-old victim, a resident of the 2500 block of Virginia Ave.,Β was in the area of Songbird Circle and Birdsnest Court, police said.

According to police, while he was bent over, the victim was approached by three black males about 19 years old. The victim was punched in the face and the suspects demanded money, police said.
Two of the suspects had knives and one suspect displayed a small black handgun, police said. After a brief struggle, during which the victim was struck with a wooden chair, the victim managed to run toward the apartment complex rental office and the suspects ran toward the pedestrian footbridge over the I-295 Baltimore-Washington Parkway.
