During the period Mar. 3-10, AVFD received 58 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:
Mar. 3: At around 3:58 p.m., a request for an investigation was made at UMBC. Crews from the AVFD responded to find smoke from an air handling unit, but no fire.

Mar. 5: At around 1:25 a.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reported on I-695 between Exits 12 and 13 in Catonsville . Crews from the AVFD and Catonsville and Pikesville career stations responded. Three people with non-life-threatening injuries were taken to a local hospital.
Mar. 5: At around 9:21 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reported on Highview Avenue at Elm Ridge Avenue in Arbutus. Crews from the AVFD responded and transported one person with non-life-threatening injuries to a local hospital.

Mar. 7: At around 6:50 p.m., a motorcycle accident was reported at Wilkens Avenue and Maiden Choice Lane. Crews from the AVFD and Catonsville career station responded. One seriously injured person was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Mar. 9: At around 6:11 p.m., an apartment fire was reported on the 5000 block of Westland Boulevard in Arbutus. Crews from the Arbutus and Violetville volunteer stations and Catonsville, Halethorpe and Westview career stations responded. A stovetop fire was extinguished.
