Construction Worker Injured in Fall at UMBC
Man falling on scaffolding in serious but stable condition at Shock Trauma Center.

A laborer hanging drywall in a building under construction on the campus of University of Maryland Baltimore County was injured by falling about 20 feet onto a scaffolding.
The incident happened about 8:30 this morning.
Victor Lopez, 34, sustained leg and head injuries in the fall and was taken by ambulance to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was reported in serious but stable condition.

Lopez was an employee of a contractor working on the building, and not an employee of UMBC.
