During the period April 22-29, AVFD received 63 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:

April 22: At 9:17 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reported on I-695 between Exits 12 and 13 in Catonsville. Crews from the AVFD and Catonsville and Westview career stations responded. One person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to a local hospital.

April 23: At 8 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reported on I-195 between Exits 3 and 4 in Halethorpe. Crews from the AVFD responded to find property damage, but no injuries.

April 24: At 2:40 p.m., a cardiac arrest was reported on Back Road at Hilltop Road on the UMBC campus. Crews from the AVFD responded. One seriously ill person was taken to a local hospital.

April 27: At 7:56 p.m., a dwelling fire was reported on the 5600-block of Furnace Avenue in Howard County. Crews from the AVFD responded and assisted units with extinguishing the fire.

April 28: At 11:50 p.m., a dwelling fire was reported on the 3000-block of Illinois Avenue in English Consul. Crews from the English Consul, Arbutus, Lansdowne and Violetville volunteer stations and Halethorpe career station responded to find a small stovetop fire.
