During the period April 15-22, AVFD received 79 calls for medical and fire-rescue service, including the following:

April 15: At 12:23 a.m., an auto fire was reported on I-95 between I-895 and I-195 in Arbutus. Crews from AVFD responded and extinguished the fire.

April 16: At 6:17 p.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reported on I-195 between Exits 3 and 4 in Arbutus. Crews from the AVFD and Halethorpe career station responded. One person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to a local hospital.

April 18: At 9:48 a.m., a motor vehicle accident with injury was reported on Hilltop Road at Wilkens Avenue in Catonsville. Crews from the AVFD responded. One person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to Johns Hopkins University Pediatric Trauma Center.

April 20: At 1:55 a.m., a pedestrian struck by a vehicle was reported on the 5500-block of Selma Avenue in Arbutus. Crews from the AVFD responded and transported one seriously injured person to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

April 20: At 3:53 a.m., a dwelling fire was reported on the unit block of South Belle Grove Road in Catonsville. Crews from the Arbutus, English Consul and Violetville volunteer stations and Catonsville, Halethorpe, Westview and Woodlawn career stations responded. A basement fire was extinguished.
