Lansdowne Improvement Association Elects New Leaders

Group aims to improve safety and quality of life.

At its last meeting, Lansdowne Improvement Association elected new leadership to two-year terms that begin July 1.

Brian Bailey was elected president of the group. Gary Koloski is the new vice-president, and Chris Koloski is the second vice-president. Dixie Yankulov will be treasurer, John Yankulov the sergeant-at-arms and Alberta Dockins the corresponding secretary.

Ernie Bailey, Betty Knox and Karl McGovern will be trustees and Barbara Conte will serve as member at large.

Previously, Craig Rankin served as LIA president.

"I am encouraged that the membership of the Lansdowne Improvement Association elected new leadership," Bailey says.

The group elected includes experienced community activists who will lead efforts to address safety and quality of life issues; improving the business district; attracting homeowners and businesses; and collaborating with other stakeholders in the community, he says.
