Police Blotter: Juvenile Arrested in Riverview Burglary

The following is based on information from Baltimore County Police Department.

June 4: At some time since May 30, an unknown person kicked in a rear door to a residence on the 800 block of Rambo Ct. in Riverview. Once inside the residence, the syspect turned off the power and stole a dishwasher and microwave oven. Cabinets and doorways were damaged when the appliances were removed.

June 5: At around 10:20 a.m., a resident on the 1000 blok of Elm Ridge Ave. in Arbutus discovered a stanger in his yard. The suspect fled towards Wilkens Ave. in a light blue four-door sedan. The suspect was described as a white male around 40 years old, wearing a black shirt, light blue jeans and a black hat. The resident discovered a lock to a shed had been destroyed.

June 6: At some time since May 30, an unknown suspect cut the lock to a shed on the 1000 block of Elm Ridge Ave. in Arbutus. Nothing was stolen.

June 6: At some time since 7 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person entered the property of a business on the 3200 block of Hammonds Ferry Rd. in Lansdowne and drove a vehicle through the front gate. The vehicle was later recovered in Baltimore City.Β 

June 6: At some time since 3 p.m. the previous afternoon, an unknown person entered Baltimore County Public School property on the 4800 block of Hollins Ferry Rd. in Halethorpe and took several batteries from school buses.

June 7: At some time since 9 p.m. the previous evening, an unknown person entered the property of a business on the 3800 block of Washington Blvd. in Arbutus, and stole a Sawzall, concrete saw and power drill.

June 8: Between 9 a.m. and 8:43 p.m., an unknown person forced in the rear screen of a window of a residence on the 2400 block of Zion Rd. in Lansdowne and took a digital camera, engagement ring set, jewelry and money.

June 8: One person was taken into custody after breaking into a garage on the 900 block of Niagra Ct. in Riverview. A juvenile suspect, who was not identified by police, reportedly broke the outside pane of glass on a sliding door of a house. The suspect forced open the door of the garage and took tools, which were recovered by police who responded to the in-progress call at around 11:06 p.m.

June 9: At some time since 4:30 the previous evening, an unknown person entered a business on the 1500 block of Caton Center Dr. in Arbutus and took an undisclosed amount of money from a filing cabinet.

June 9: Between 9-11 p.m., an unknown person forced open the rear door of a residence of the 3000 block of Bero Rd. in Riverview and ransacked the premises. The only thing stolen was a 27" flat-screen television set.

June 10: At around 10:16 p.m., an unknown person broke the side door glass of the Lansdowne Senior Center on the 400 block of Third Avenue. The alarm sounded, the suspect fled, and nothing was disturbed in the building.
