Vicious Assault of Motorist Caught on Tape
Incident happened Feb. 7 on 5200 block of Baltimore National Pike.
Baltimore County Police released a 23-second video of a Feb. 7 assault in a Route 40 shopping center parking lot that left a motorist unconscious and bleeding on the ground.
At around 4:20 p.m. on Feb 7, a 41-year-old man unintentionally struck a parked car with his truck when pulling into the Charing Cross Shopping Center on the 5200-block of Baltimore National Pike, police said.
According to police, the man was approached by several black males, two of whom claimed that the struck car belonged to them and demanded money to settle the matter. The suspects began punching and kicking the man until he lost consciousness, officers said.

Police found the victim unconscious lying in a small pool of blood. He received treatment for his injuries at Sinai Hospital.
The struck vehicle did not belong to any of the men, according to police.

One suspect is described as a black male in his mid-20s, approximately 5β11β tall, with a medium build, medium complexion and brown eyes. Three other black males participated in the assault, but no descriptions are available.
