Discuss Seniors' Independence: 'Exercising Choice and Control'
The Baltimore County Department of Aging will hold presentations at senior centers in Lansdowne and Arbutus about choices people make as they age.

To enhance the quality of life as people age, it's important that older people exercise choice and control.
That's the message that the Baltimore County Department of Aging and the Mental Health Association of Maryland will deliver this summer through presentations at senior centers, according to a news release from the department.
"The Choices We Make as We Age" will be presented by Susan Parks at the following senior centers nearby, the release states:

- Monday, July 15, at 1:30 p.m., Lansdowne Senior Center, 424 Third Ave. 410-887-1443
- Friday, July 19 at 12:45 p.m., Arbutus Senior Center, 855 Sulphur Spring Rd. 410-887-1410
- Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 10 a.m., Catonsville Senior Center, 501 N Rolling Rd. 410-744-0170
Please register by calling the senior center that is holding the presentation you'd like to attend, it states.
More presentations in July will also be held at the Mt. Carmel, Pikesville, Seven Oaks and Reisterstown senior centers. Visit the Department of Aging website for details on those presentations, and for more scheduled in August and September.
