The tart-size ice cream pies made by Three Bears Creamery in Friendship Gardens are equal parts art and confection.
Beginning with a homemade crust - plain, chocolate or graham - and topped with rich homemade ice cream in one of 15 flavors, the minature pies look and taste like their namesakes: apple pie, coconut custard, strawberry cheesecake, cookies and cream, peanut butter among others. Or make your own to order.
They're almost too precious to eat. And at two for $5, Three Bears' ice cream pies are a treat that can't be beat.
