Each week, Arbutus Patch will feature a teen or child who has been nominated by a member of the community for doing something outstanding. Meet this week's Whiz Kid.
Name: Taylor Gamber
School: Junior, Lansdowne Senior High School
Accomplishment: An honor roll student who has worked at Hoyt's Movie Theater for two years, Taylor has played football for eight years - including playing in a playoff game with a broken foot. As a member of Arbutus Eagles cheer squad, he helped the group make it to the Cheersport nationals in Atlanta Feb. 18-20. He is also an all-star cheerleader for the Maryland Marlins, and cheers for Lansdowne High School. Taylor will soon be certified as a tumbling coach.
