
A teenager who dashed between parked cars was struck by a vehicle on Shelbourne Avenue near Arbutus Middle School Wednesday evening.
The incident was reported at around 8:25 p.m., according to Lt. Nancy Storke, deputy commander of Precinct 1/Wilkens.
The 15-year-old male victim, whose name was not released by the police, sustained minor injuries.

“He was very slightly injured,” says Storke. “Witnesses says he hopped back up after being hit.”
As a precaution, the victim was transported by ambulance to Johns Hopkins for evaluation.

Storke says that the victim was at fault for the incident, and the vehicle’s speed was not a factor.
